**Position Overview**: As an Engine Rebuild Specialist at G.O.A.T. Mechanical Services, you will be responsible for the full-cycle remanufacturing and assembly of various heavy-duty engine models across multiple industry-leading brands, including Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, and Hitachi. This role encompasses the complete engine rebuild process, from short and long block assembly to the integration of critical sub-components. You'll bring expertise and precision to each step, ensuring that each engine meets our high-quality standards and operational benchmarks.
- Execute comprehensive rebuilds on engines across brands, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo and Hitachi models.
- Assemble essential sub-components, such as Front & Rear Housings, Oil Pans, Oil Coolers, Fuel Pumps, Aftercoolers, and Fuel Filters.
- Perform precision assembly of both short and long blocks with a focus on durability and performance.
- Ensure that each rebuild meets OEM specifications through meticulous torqueing procedures, component alignment, and comprehensive quality control checks.

**Qualifications**:

- Heavy Equipment Technician / Off-Road Journeyperson ticket, or interprovincial Red Seal certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty engines, particularly in rebuilds and remanufacturing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of engine components, assembly procedures, and torqueing protocols.
- Skilled in using essential service tools and measuring devices, including dial bore gauges and micrometers.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions and prioritize tasks.
- Fluent in English with effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
- Capable of safely lifting and handling materials up to 40 pounds.
- Commitment to safety practices, including the ability to wear a respirator and adhere to safety protocols.

**Shift Information**:

- This position is for a weekday shift Mon-Thur 10 hours a day.
- Any future shift changes will align with G.O.A.T. Mechanical Services' operational needs.

**Compensation**:

- Hourly Rate: $52.00 / Hour

Pay: $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
