Martial Arts Instructor

**Qualifications**
- Min 5 years of Martial Arts experience
- Min 1 year experience instructing Martial arts classes for children and adults
- Advanced sash/belt rank in a traditional martial art (Hapkido, Kung Fu, Karate)
- Strong desire to teach and learn martial arts
- Enthusiasm, sense of humour, empathy and patience
- Organized-Self Starter
- A “service first” mentality
- Good physical fitness
- Must enjoy teaching students of all ages
- Must pass a background check.
- First Aid/CPR certified

**Responsibilities**
- Instruction of high energy, benefit driven, and productive classes for students of all ages and skill levels
- Building and strengthening professional relationships with students and families
- Participating in the assessment of students for rank progression
- Support marketing initiatives
- Appointment setting
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks
- Assist with planning and leading events, seminars, new student intros, day camps, etc

**Volpe Martial Arts styles**:We provide hands-on martial arts training to both black and colour belts/sashes with a combined curriculum of Hapkido and Kung Fu.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
