This position is in person at our Iroquois, Ontario facility.

As a Robotics Test Technician, you will focus on production and RMA (customer returns) testing/debug/processing at all levels of the product structure from PCBA to system level configuration. You will work closely with the Robotics Production Manager, Technical Lead (Sr Test Development Technologist) and Manufacturing Process Specialist in meeting production timelines while adhering to the test requirements. Reporting to the Robotics Production Manager, this position is located at our Manufacturing and Test facility in Iroquois, ON.

**What the job is all about**:
Production (released, NPI)
- Using prescribed test instructions as delivered by the Technical Lead, perform functional sub-assembly and system level test.
- Identify products failing electrical and mechanical test procedure specifications. Troubleshoot and repair assembly accordingly using established processes and procedures.
- Configure systems to meet sales order criteria.
- Directed by the Robotics Production Manager and Technical Lead, you will test/debug other Robotic products which are currently built at 8 John St. This will help with throughput and your overall understanding of the technology.
- Feedback quality or test issues to Robotics Production Manager, Technical Lead and Manufacturing Process Specialist.
- Assist Robotics Production Manager, Technical Lead and Manufacturing Process Specialist during the NPI process. This could include assembly, testing, debug or some level of performance verification.
- As directed by either the Robotics Production Manager, Technical Lead or Manufacturing Process Specialist, rework, re-test or upgrade product as per a given ECO.
- Identify and report equipment needs and resources with the Robotics Production Manager, Technical Lead and Manufacturing Process Specialist.

RMA
- Process RMAs using established processes and procedures while faithfully trying to reproduce the customer complaint.
- Identify issues to the root cause
- Interact with Tech Support techs for additional customer feedback
- Provide specific instructions using sanctioned tools for rework and upgrades.
- Due diligence in ensuring product identification at all levels are accurate and representative.
- Upon customer request, provide RMA feedback through approved reporting mechanism.
- Assist RMA Coordinators in identifying incoming product
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Who you are**:

- Two or three-year Electro-Mechanical Technician/Technologist program or equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and assembly skills.
- Basic electronic circuit knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Operational knowledge of oscilloscopes and DVMs.
- Above average PC/Windows computer skills specifically related to network and serial interface and configuration.
- Knowledge of Linux is an asset
- Must have computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and core business-use tools.
- Strong technical abilities and good organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and decision making skills
- Able to envision the entire project and look for problem areas
- Self-starter, quick learner and are able to work with minimum supervision in meeting schedules and project deadlines.
- High initiative and well developed analytical skills
- Min. 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the operation of standard electronic test equipment
- Valid Driver’
