**What we are looking for**:
Postmedia Editorial Services is looking for a versatile Paginator with the skills to produce weekly and daily newspaper pages that grab attention and engage readers. Editing experience is a plus.
**Duties**:

- Layout and design a high volume of newspaper pages, including fronts and feature pages, for our weekly and daily newspapers.
- Work as part of a tight-knit team in a high-pressure environment to achieve excellence in newspaper design.
- Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Superb layout and design abilities; strong typography skills.
- Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail; Exceptional ability to spot errors in layout style.
- Well organized, with excellent communication skills and an ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with InDesign; Experience with Saxo CMS an asset.
- Efficient and calm under pressure; The successful applicant is expected to balance accuracy and speed and be fully accountable for work.
- Experience in a fast-paced daily newsroom.

**Additional Preferred Skills**:

- A keen eye for detail and ensure the highest quality of work is being produced.
- Equally comfortable editing arts, sports and news copy or reshaping display type.
- Talent for writing clever headlines with clarity that capture the essence of a story.
- Excellent grammar, comprehension and editing skills.
