**General Accountability**:
Reporting directly to the Paint Pressure Body & Meter Service Supervisor or Assigned Shift Supervisor, the Finishing Assembly - Technical Lead will provide technical lead support to the assembly process as well as assisting, coaching, scheduling, training, and supporting all employees within the assembly department.
**Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Verify the measurement integrity of the devices manufactured for all customers
- Assembly, testing and programing of all electronic modules including Honeywell, TCI, and Mercury modules
- Assembly, testing and programming of AMR/AMI devices (Itron, Aclara, etc.), DC Testing
- Responsible for collecting and organization of all proving data and creating customer specific data files
Canadian Customers:
- 100% testing of devices: meters, pressure bodies and modules built
- Inspection of devices and issuing a certificate in a manner prescribed in Section 21 of the Electricity and Gas
- Inspection Act, and Government Document #GEN-27
- Initiate the request for recertification of Bell prover (Standard/Reference) in a manner suggested in
Government Document GS-ENG-09-01
- Initiate the request for re-certification of 40,000ctf transfer prover as suggested in government document
GS-ENG-04-01
- Work with government personnel for product audit and surveillance audit
- Inspection of electronic modules for sealing as and when required by management
Non-Canadian Customers:
- Verify the devices and issue certificate in accordance with the Romet Quality Management System which
include TC test, Pulse Verification and accuracies check at desired flow rates
- Maintain the records as per the Romet Quality Management System
**Technical Lead Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Support the overall operation and quality assurance of the assembly department
- Support that the operators in training at each operation and level
- Follow the Romet Quality Assurance System
- Notify appropriate management of any production/quality/safety problem issues
- Make sure work orders are being completed and scrap is reported
- Supporting the supervisor to monitor workstations to prevent over/under load conditions
- Check work center production quantities and assist in bringing them back to expected levels
- Work with Material Handling team members to support the movement of material
- Schedule production items for outside processing as required
- Ensure efficient transfer of parts to and from other departments as required
- Support the production staff in ISO environment and demonstrate/set the example for staff
