Our facilities include a Pro Shop, liquor license, covered patio, club storage, putting green and friendly, attentive staff.

**Job Summary**: The Golf Tournament Coordinator provides a positive, high level of service to customers (shareholders, members & guests) by working with each tournament group to ensure successful completion of the event.

Create, review, and maintain all group contracts. Ensure that all group golf is properly booked to ensure full tee sheet optimization. Maintain constant communication with the General Manager to properly prepare for such events.

**General Duties**:
Coordinates each tournament or event from the initial planning stages until the completion of the event.
- Advises the General Manager and Superintendent of future events to facilitate proper coordination of special set-up requirements and staffing levels. Generate a monthly calendar of events for staff to review.
- Schedules and maintains tee times for members, groups, and individual play.
- Maintains accurate records for all groups and tournaments.
- Prepares and distributes information pertaining to tournaments, critical dates and course closures to members, groups, and individuals.
- Assists with the registration of golfers for tournaments.
- Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in area of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
- Participate in event meeting.
- Oversee all aspects of the tournament operations, including management of electronic tee sheet.
- Responsible for assisting the General Manager with league play and member events.

**Employment standards**:

- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be Smart Serve certified.
- Point of Sale (Tee-On) experience an asset.
- Previous experience is an asset.
- Requires problem solving abilities.
- Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment.
- Must have neat and pleasant overall appearance.
- Comprehend reading materials.
- Speak, read and write English.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $800.00-$850.00 per week
