Temporary Caregiver

**We are seeking a temporary caregiver to assist our female client with cancer with all aspects of daily living. Our client enjoys living a quiet, simple life, and enjoys playing video games, watching TV and spending time with her family.**
**Location**:
- New Westminster (Near Quayside Park)
**Shifts and Hours**:
- Thursday to Sunday: 9AM to 5PM
- Must be available and can commit to all shifts
**Compensation**:
- $25 to $27 per hour based on experience
**Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)**:
- Assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting, peri-care, bathing
- Assistance with nutrition support through meal preparation
- Administering medication
- Preparing transfers through mechanical transfers
- Performing massages on affected areas
- Range of Motion exercises
- Assistance with occasional skin care maintenance, minor wound care
**Required Qualifications**:
- 1 year of Caregiving experience required, including assisting clients with peri-care and personal hygiene
- Driver's License with a clean abstract an asset
- Excellent communication skills, written, speaking, and hearing
- Ability to adapt and be proactive
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters (must be open to potentially receiving boosters)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend

**Experience**:
- Caregiving: 1 year (required)
- Mechanical transfers using Ceiling lift: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
