Transportation Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate transportation activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking of shipments
- Supervise and manage transportation personnel to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any transportation-related issues
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Manage materials management and procurement processes to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and streamline distribution processes
- Oversee the use of forklifts and other equipment to load and unload shipments

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in transportation coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and warehouse distribution processes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other transportation software systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders
- Proficient in budgeting and cost analysis to optimize transportation expenses

**Salary**: $36,050.11-$66,158.64 per year

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Logistics: 2 years (preferred)
