We are seeking a full-time Carpenter Apprentice to join our fast-growing, dynamic team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches and fully grasp the project's requirements.
- Accurately take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed for a project.
- Skilled in using all tools necessary to cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements.
- Ability to build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
- Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Ability to assemble/build scaffolding and other structures needed for construction.
- The ability to install items such as siding, millwork, and insulation is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for site maintenance, demolition, and assisting with carpentry tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction as required.
- Ability to work well on your own as required under mínimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeyman ticket or proof of apprenticeship.
- Experience as a Carpenter.
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools.
- Willingness to comply with safety guidelines at all times.
- Strong basic math skills.
- First Aid, WHIMS, and Fall Protection Certifications are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, equipment, and materials
- Ability to work in changing environmental conditions (i.e., indoors/outdoors, sun, snow, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity.
