**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the corporate procurement and purchasing strategy for acquiring goods and services on behalf of the organization and its customers. Directs strategic planning, optimization of system and processes to support global purchasing, Requests for Information/Proposal and relationship management to ensure the highest level of quality and value.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Team Leadership: Partner with procurement organization to implement standard processes for all cycles including sourcing, contract management, requisition, supplier onboarding/maintenance, purchase order management, invoice processing, accruals and vendor performance monitoring.
- Efficiency Enhancements: actively seek methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance in delivery of projects. This may include day-to-day work within the project lifecycle or by identifying cost-saving opportunities at the organizational level.
- Oversees all facets of the daily Procurement and Purchasing operations.. Responsible for departmental productivity and performance.
- Establishes and analyzes metrics and market conditions to deliver value and best practices for third party goods and services and appropriately manages and measures performance of the Company’s sourcing team.
- Collaborates with Vendor Management to promote exceptional vendor performance.
- Liaise with counterparts in other functional areas to identify and support third party requirements in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Collect and analyze procurement data required for various reports on procurement activity including contract and inventory related activity.
- Assists in coordination with vendors and internal departments such as Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable to resolve repetitive or procedural obstacles.
- Plans, organizes, and directs complex procurement activities that may arise within the Global Procurement Department.
- Participates in face-to-face or teleconferences with Vendor and/or business owner meetings as a delegate of the Procurement Process Owner.
- Performs required audits and procedural reviews on behalf of Global Procurement for adherence to Company Procurement Policies and Practices. Participates, as necessary, when delegated in Customer Audits and provides technical support on processes.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**:

- 10 years+ of leadership role with global business and system transformation project management experience
- Strong in P2P domain from invoicing, AP, PO management
- Experience on driving & leading automation initiatives across all the stakeholders in the organization & leading governance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
- Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines preferred.
- Knowledge of writing excel Macros and Visio preferred
- Working knowledge of Oracle R12 (iProcurement module) preferred
