The Public Works Department, along with Utility Services, oversee the City of Fort Saskatchewan’s water and sewer infrastructure; including over 200 km of pipe, two lift stations, two reservoirs and a water tower. Reporting to the Foreman, Utilities, the Labourer II is responsible for performing a wide variety of manual tasks within the Utility Services team. Duties include: hydrant flushing, hydrant painting, valve exercising, CC exercising, general repair and maintenance of water distribution and sewer collection infrastructure, maintenance of the utilities equipment and tools. The Labourer II promotes the City’s commitment to diversity, inclusions and Truth and Reconciliation within the department, organization and community.

**Qualifications**:
Hours of Work: 80 hours bi-weekly

Duration: Immediately to September 1, 2023
