Benchmark International is an Edmonton-based manufacturer. We have a proud 25-year history as both a manufacturer’s representative and a manufacturer. Currently, we manufacture a variety of products including gas separation equipment and environmental monitoring equipment. Our products are used by customers around the world. The Shipper Receiver plays an important role in ensuring that production goods are swiftly and properly received and that finished products and parts are shipped to customers in an timely and efficient manner.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Supervisor of Business Services, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving of all goods entering and leaving the facility. You will receive goods according to our documented process and procedures ensuring that the received goods match the purchase order. You will also be responsible for shipping of goods to our customers and vendors with appropriate packaging and documentation. **ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Shipping and receiving of orders in accordance with the corporate quality system expectations
- Verify quantities to customer orders, documentation (MTR’s/MRB’s) and packing lists and notify vendors of any inconsistencies
- Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods
- Packaging orders (boxing and crating)
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standard and provide appropriate documentation as required
- Arranging pickups and deliveries
- Loading support as needed
- Warehouse and inventory support with restocking, cycle counting and yearly inventory count
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds

**QUALIFICATIONS**

We are looking for a genuine and passionate person. An individual that is positive and enthusiastic and enjoys balancing multiple competing priorities with the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction. It would be great if you had the following experience and qualifications:

- Forklift operation and ticket
- 5 years of shipping and receiving experience
- Experience working with a Freight Forwarding Agent or Customs Broker would be an asset
- International shipping experience would be an asset
