Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in pharmacy technician duties and a passion for helping others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain inventory and stock medications
- Perform medication packaging and labeling
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
- Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy technician duties and responsibilities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Proficiency in Kroll

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$22.37 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
