Ironworker

**Full Job Description**

We are currently looking for experienced Ironworkers, that reside in the Kelowna area.

You will be an integral part of the Island Field Team working on multiple active construction projects in Kelowna and in the Kelowna area. Working on heights, outside work and heavy lifting may be involved. This is a full-time position, reporting to Island Project Foremen on site. (Work 4 - 10 Hour Day Shifts and Enjoy Friday and Weekends Off)

**Responsibilities**:

- Erect steel for structural steel buildings and structural steel
- Install of Misc. Metals
- Bolt up and impacting
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
- Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
- Rigging and setting of building modules
- Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment

**Requirements**:

- Registered apprentice as an Iron Worker and/or willing to register
- Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform are a requirement
- WHMIS and CSTS
- All Field Employees should have Basic Iron Worker Tools
- Valid drivers license
- Eager to work

**Salary**: $22.00-$38.00 per hour
