The Scrum Master manages key client projects in the information technology sector. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.

Responsibilities for Scrum Master
- Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
- Support the product owner and provide education where needed.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product being delivered and act as a point of contact for Product Managers and Director of Engineering when questions arise.
- Work with Product Managers and Director of Engineers on a handover plan when necessary.

Qualifications for Scrum Master
- Prior experience on a scrum team.
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (such as Scrum or Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum.
- Experience with successful Agile techniques.
- Ability to work with and lead a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 per year
