Concord, Canada Custom Robotics and Laser Operations Full time

**We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with control panel building and machine wiring.
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems, and familiarity with their programming is a plus.
- Proficiency in CNC operations and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment effectively.
- ClearCore programming knowledge is required—your interview will evaluate your knowledge of ClearCore, so please be prepared.
- (ClearCore programming uses the Motion Control Interface (MCI) API, designed to be relatively user-friendly, especially for those with a background in PLC programming or embedded systems. The language is based on C++, which means those familiar with C-like syntax (C, C#, Java, etc.) will find it easier to pick up. While it may take some time to understand the specific functions and libraries of ClearCore, the learning curve is manageable for experienced programmers, and resources like ClearPath's documentation make it more accessible.)_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop or modify programs from scratch using ClearCore and troubleshoot independently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to assemble control panels.
- Test assembled panels and troubleshoot discrepancies during the process.
- Wire control panels according to electrical diagrams.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards.
- Assemble and wire components such as switches, relays, and wire harnesses.
- Detect and resolve issues related to PLC systems, ensuring smooth operations.
- **Train end users and customers on-site at their locations, providing clear and effective instruction.**:

- **Ability to communicate and present to small groups of customers or colleagues when required.**

**Required Skills**:

- Experience in wiring, soldering, cabling, and mechanical fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues with mínimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment effectively.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- College diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Electrician (309A or 442A) with 3+ years of experience is an asset.
- **Must have a valid driver's license.**:

- Ability to travel within Canada and the USA as required—**please ensure you are legally able to travel to the USA before applying.**:

- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and work standing for extended periods.
