**Job Summary**
A payroll administrator is in charge of inputting multi-province, employee time and payroll data. The payroll administrator will work alongside another payroll administrator in the office, and the payroll supervisor (processor). Boart Longyear Payroll administrators work with bi-monthly and monthly deadlines and thus should have strong time management and organizational skills. Good accounting and mathematical reasoning skills are important in calculating deductions and in problem solving.

Payroll data is entered through Oracle, and administrators must be proficient with computer, particularly with spreadsheet and database programs.

The Position to be based out of Haileybury, ON and act as Payroll Administration.

- Hours of work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Timesheet data entry for a large multi-provincial payroll
- Coordinating with Payroll Supervisor, Division Managers, Human Resource, and supervisor in regular payroll administrative duties.
- Generating reports for payments
- Help navigate through any payroll concerns, questions, etc. as needed with employees.
- Maintain a proper document control system
- Promote and work within the company policies
- Assisting with payroll, month end, yearend, accounting reconciliations as required.
- Prepare payroll reports for Payroll Manager, Payroll Director, and Finance Business Partners.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Experience processing payroll in Oracle preferred.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
- Strong Background in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional people skills. Able to develop trust-based relationships.
- Detail-oriented, organized, problem-solver, time management, great communications skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic team environment and under tight time constraints
- Ability to handle confidential information and meet specified deadlines.
