Autopsy Transfer Driver

Are you an emotionally and physically strong individual? Interested in a unique work opportunity? Serenity Transfer Service Ltd is seeking an Autopsy Driver in Comox Valley, BC This position is casual with the opportunity for more structured hours as you develop with your team.

While hours are not guaranteed, this job is an excellent way to build experience in the medical/forensic field, as well as funeral industries, management, coroners offices and emergency services. Serenity Transfer Service Ltd. requires that any interested parties understand the need to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. At times you may interact directly with family or friends of the decedent, during which you must maintain an empathetic yet professional demeanor. **If you are squeamish to bodily fluids or graphic content, this may not be the right employment opportunity for you.**

Must be able to pass a criminal record check, must have a class 5 license.

Requirements for the Job:

- Ability to respond to calls with urgency and be available for short notice work. Answering the phone while on call is of the utmost importance.
- Must have a class 5 drivers license issued by ICBC
- Must be able to lift 150+ lbs
- Available on call from 12:00am to 7:00am, Monday to Friday

**This posting is for an individual who can work from midnight to approximately 7am, Monday to Friday, who is comfortable driving extended periods of time.

Expected hours can fluctuate and can range from 0-10+ hours in a week. The average Autopsy Transfer can take about 5 hours, and there can be anywhere from 0 to 4 drives a week on average. You will typically be notified of the upcoming shift the day prior, however there may be some last moment call outs.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
