Composites Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our team. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing composite materials used in various industries. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to work with precision will contribute to the success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate composite parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform layup, vacuum bagging, and curing processes
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues with composite materials or equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop composite solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with composites in a manufacturing or aerospace industry preferred
- Strong understanding of composite materials, processes, and techniques
- Proficient in construction inspection and quality control procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and MicroStation software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of system design principles for composite structures
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills when working with clients or team members

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
