Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief

Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is an influential member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for providing operational and strategic direction to the organization with an emphasis on the financial aspects. As well, this position is responsible for overall leadership of the corporate services continuum of programs, with corporate-wide responsibilities that include policy formulation, planning and decision making on matters affecting the organization. In addition, the CFO will work collaboratively with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team to guide operations across all of the organization.
Inherent in the role will be the ability of the CFO to lead and facilitate the optimization of funding across the hospital, consistent with best practice approaches and in consideration of northern influences, with continual focus on superior patient outcomes and a quality patient experience, which includes the provision of care close to home. The CFO will also play a key role, in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, in the areas of short and long-term capital planning and funding, cash flow management, quality and risk management, financial and utilization management and strategic financial planning.
Temiskaming Hospital requires an accomplished senior-level financial executive who is capable of excelling in a complex environment. This position will require an individual that can lead and advance a strong corporate services team through mentoring and succession planning. The incumbent must be an outstanding communicator and possess excellent financial analytical abilities.
