Fleet Service Writer / Parts Counter Person

**SUMMARY**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with Fleet Manager to ensure work orders are fulfilled and work orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Help maintain company assets by ensuring that they are properly maintained and cleaning them when necessary. This includes taking steps to ensure that the equipment is kept in good working condition, inspecting for damage or defects, and replacing parts as necessary.
- Ensure that service appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. This includes communicating with technicians or supervisors when orders remain open, communicating with management regarding any scheduling issues, and following up with technicians regarding their work schedules.
- Provide technical support to technicians as needed. This includes diagnosing issues or problems; performing repairs; setting up new parts; troubleshooting equipment; etc.
- Accurately looking up parts with our computer systems
- Retreiving heavy truck parts for technichans from inventory
- Picking, packaging, and receiving orders accurately
- Work effectively as parts of a team; demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude

**Qualifications**
- Must have knowledge of Transport Trucks parts.
- Be physically fit to lift, bend and work with heavy vehicle components.
- Have good hand-eye coordination and good organizational skills.
- Must be a team player and work well with people, both customers and co-workers.
- Knowledge of how to run a Forklift and or Loader is a benefit.
- Must have own transportation
- Able to work outside or inside.
- Available to work Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- service writer: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
