We are looking for a permanent, full-time Junior Controller to join our team. This position is 5 days per week, 8:00am to 4:30pm in Blackfalds.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting and Remitting to various agencies
- Maintain system of controls over accounting transactions
- Produce timely and complete financial statements, cost accounting, budgets and forecasts
- Comply with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements
- Recommend guidelines in which to measure the performance of company operations
- Equipment & Inventory Management within Accounting Software
- With input from the CFO on the formulation of accounting policies, procedures and controls.
- Post payments, deposits cheques, process EFT payments, assist A/P and A/R
- Collaborate with CFO on year end working papers, asset lists, and other tasks requested
- Loan management & regular assessment

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in QuickBooks
- Detail-oriented with exceptional attention to accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Technological proficiency
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Leadership, Interpersonal and Collaborative Abilities
- Excellent Written, Verbal and Listening Skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is an asset (Not required)
- CPA Designation is an asset (Not required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
