Commercial/pricing Analyst

The Commercial Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the groundside operations for our client.
This includes developing and maintaining existing and future data sets, daily, weekly, and monthly reports as well as driving insights through further ad-hoc analysis.
Strong focus on Revenue management and Pricing recommendations.
The Commercial Business Analyst is also responsible for the analysis, presentation, communication, and effective delivery of all recommendations to the client on price and product initiatives.
Effectively utilizing analysis to generate additional top line revenue and/or cost efficiencies, assisting in the on-going development and deployment of advances analytical tools within the company and providing training to all levels of competence.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse market dynamics, drive insights, pricing trends and research and log all findings, update competitor database and special events tracker in system.
- Responsible for the accuracy, quality & timeliness of all fixed/ad hoc reporting and dashboards.
- Responsible for the facilitation and recommendation of implementing all Yield and Pricing management for the business and key clients. This includes all analysis of performance, trends, price points, price demand elasticity’s and impact analysis.
- Build new reports and dashboards to a high standard for distribution to local and senior management as well as Key clients.
- Maintenance of pricing tables, pricing structures and hierarchies, data cleansing, quality control, and account securities.
- Be the key point of contact on-site for users and technical questions on the Bi-Tool.
- In coordination with management and clients prepare projections of revenue and bookings based on numerous variables and data assumptions.
- Independently analyse/build new analytical models, charts and graphs, and procedures, as necessary.
- Responsible for the communication and on-going maintenance of the Bi-Tools at Airports.

The ideal profile
- BSC/Degree/Higher Education in Economics / Maths / BSC Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a business intelligence or revenue/yield management role.
- Excel Advanced Level and Powerbi.
- Experience in tools such as Powerbi, Tableau, IBM Cognos / TM1, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, MS objects, Cognos Analytics, Qlik.
- Client reporting / Account management.
- Excellent computer literacy combined with a good head for business
- Excellent organisational and evaluation skills.
- Project management experience and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels and in different situations.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Dynamic pricing experience from Hotel, Airline or retail industries.
- SPSS (Predictive) Modelling
- Advanced Analytics
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
