**About the Role**:

- Provide technical assistance to maintain and strengthen the NI-led activities.
- Analyze and interpret findings from the routine monitoring, and research to support evidence-based program design decisions and rollout.
- Coordinate and monitor provision of technical advice by GTS or other external experts to project staff in support of the implementation of NI-led work as per IGNIT3 annual work plans and budget.
- Assess and monitor the project team’s nutrition technical capacity and resource needs, and foster development opportunities through technical updates, trainings, information sharing and coaching.
- Provide support to the IGNIT3 Project team to quality assure their project management activities by supporting the Project team to identify and select consultants, define scope of work, review Terms of Reference, and review and quality assure consultant reports and deliverables.
- Support the design, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and knowledge exchange of results from any research studies under IGNIT3 in conjunction with the relevant members of the GTS Technical teams in HQ and Regional Offices.
- Work closely with the project team to analyze activities, findings, and results, and help synthesize and review donor reports and other key project documents.
- Contribute, as delegated, to knowledge translation documents such as policy briefs, summary briefs, blogs, and case studies on topics that include, but are not limited to, formative research, behavior change intervention strategies, supply chain management, health management information systems, nutrition policies, gender equality and gender equity issues related to health in nutrition.
- Contribute, as delegated, to peer-reviewed publications and/or other documentation to disseminate lessons learned and key findings arising from IGNIT3 including all research activities.

**International travel to Malawi and/or Pakistan may be required to provide technical advisory services. Duty travel is typically for 1-3 weeks and usually for not more than 40 days per year.**

**About you**:
You are someone with a Postgraduate level degree, from a recognized university in nutrition or public health (with emphasis on nutrition). Other relevant discipline will be considered with significant relevant experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in nutrition, public health, and/or related field and at least 5 years in programs relating to child survival, health and nutrition, and/or maternal health and nutrition, and/or adolescent health and nutrition, ideally with focus at the community level in low
- and middle
- income countries.

You have proven experience with conducting quantitative and qualitative research and sound understanding of health systems. You have experience and sound understanding of girls’ and women’s health and equity issues and can work in cross disciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
