Temporary Grounds/repair Person East

The position is eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week, until October 31, 2024, or return of incumbent, whichever occurs first.
**Qualifications, Training and Experience**:
Grade 12 education;
A valid Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement;
WHMIS Certification;
Completion of a Playground Safety Inspection course would be an asset;
Physically able to perform all aspects of the job;
Demonstrated ability to act appropriately with students, teachers and parents is required;
Knowledge and demonstrated ability to use power tools as required and to select the appropriate materials used in the general repair and maintenance of school facilities, grounds and equipment, and to maintain basic records;
Demonstrated ability to operate grounds keeping machinery and all other District equipment such as bobcat, backhoe.
