**Sales Associate - General**

**This position offers an opportunity to interact with both retail and contractor customers on a daily basis to help them find solutions to their renovation and home décor needs. With over 100,000 skus in our distribution centre we offer a huge range of products which creates an environment of continual learning. With constant online and on-the-job training, you will always be at the forefront of the industry acting as a do-it-yourself expert.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing a high level of customer service
- Special ordering non-stocked items from distribution or direct vendors
- Advising on a wide range of projects
- Merchandising and stocking products
- Helping with the seasonal switchovers
- Analyzing sales and making decisions on products carried

Qualifications:

- Have a basic knowledge on a variety of home improvement products/projects
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work weekends and evening shifts

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- home improvement: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
