Cornwall, Canada Signal of Ottawa - Security Full time

A Signal security Guard will conduct dedicated security services for Walmart in Cornwall.

To ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. In this position, the Advanced Dedicated Guard may need to train and mentor new and existing team members. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.

**Responsibilities**:

- Will conduct and deliver Dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site expectations/post orders.
- Will write detailed and accurate reports during each shift that serves Client needs and concerns.
- Interacting with internal and external personnel on site and promptly report any pertinent information that to the Dedicated Branch Supervisor.
- Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards and devices, etc.
- Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, such as reporting standards and service quality.
- Communicate with Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through daily huddles, such as the Client needs through post orders to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Complete training modules within first month**:

- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
