Boat Builder

Job requires an individual with plenty of woodworking experience who has completed many projects which utilized a wide range of woodworking tools. This job is comprised mainly of wood-working tasks, but touches on wood finishing (brush only) and metal
- work and wiring. Commonly used tools include hand-planes, chisels, grinders, power-sanders, planers, jointer, bandsaw, and mitre saw. With a good knowledge of the wood-working involved, the rest of the tasks can be learned on the job over time. There are many specialized tasks and skillsets that go into boat building and restoration, and the only real way to learn each is by experience along the way. We need a individual who is looking to learn new skills and their compensation will increase as their value to the company does. Once the individual has enough experience in these areas, they will be able to complete a new build or total restoration from start to finish as their own project. This is how we have always done it, and puts a great sense of pride into each boat completed for the individual boatbuilder in charge of it. Located in Rockwood, Ontario, in township of Milton.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

- Milton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
