Budtender Position

Buddy’s Place is a group of licensed, independent Cannabis Retail stores budding from the Kootenays of BC.

**The available postition is for 3 full days per week, primarily weekends & evenings, with opportunities to advance to full-time.**

Our objective is to be the Kootenay’s destination for Cannabis culture, and Nelson’s friendly local pot-shop. We are seeking retail staff who can deliver excellent service to our loyal clientele.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 19+ years of age
- Valid Selling It Right certification
- Thrive in a high volume, high level of care retail environment
- Adherence to Provincial & Federal Cannabis regulations
- Passion for Cannabis culture, and desire to be a part of the industry
- Trustworthy
- Friendly attitude & ability to work as a team
- Available to work a variety of shifts, **including Evenings and Weekends**
- Have residency in Nelson or the surrounding area.

Job duties:

- Assist customers in selecting suitable Cannabis products, and make helpful recommendations.
- Contribute to a pleasant and organized environment;
- Operate POS System, Retail software, Ipad, conduct cash transactions.
- Stay up-to-date on on industry knowledge & regulations
- Other duties as required.

- Starting wage $18/ hour plus tips, depending on experience
