**We are looking for an experienced ESL teacher to join our team**

The main responsibilities of the Instructor will be to motivate the students, by creating a warm and engaging learning environment in the classroom

**Qualifications**:

- Recognized undergraduate degree and a TESOL Canada recognized TESOL certificate or a clearly documented equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching adult English, particularly using student-centered, participatory methods.
- Experience of teaching IELTS or CELPIP would be preferred.
- Highly organized, tactful, versatile, and flexible with excellent communication skills.
- Sensitive to and understanding of the needs of adult immigrant learners; attitudes and values in keeping with the goals and philosophies of CCC.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and in a multi-cultural collaborative team setting.

**STARTING PAY**: Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
