**Planet Ford** is looking for team oriented, hardworking **Parts Advisors** to join their team.

**Here’s what you’ll deliver**:

- Manage and maintain parts department inventory levels.
- Train, manage and mentor the parts receiver/shipper team.
- Oversee proper shipping and receiving of orders.
- Monitor parts consumption/usage to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
- Verifying parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment
- Verifying shipments details against shipping documents
- Assign work to Shippers and Receivers
- To manage and oversee all aspects of Inventory Control including:

- Assembling, sorting and packing
- Ensure current and accurate inventory control and stock reconciliation for each account
- Root cause analysis of discovered inventory discrepancies and document their resolution
- Resolve discovered inventory issues during operations
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Prepare and submit reports
- Ensure smooth operation of parts inventory & resolve work related issues
- Examining returned parts for defects and confer with customers about exchanging the part or processing a refund.
- Consult catalogs for stock numbers and prices and bring parts from the stockroom.
- Suggesting part(s) that is interchangeable, placing special orders for a part, or referring the customers at another business location, if a customer needs a part that is not stocked.
- Supervising unpacking and marking incoming parts and storing them in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.
- Other duties as required by management.

**What you need to succeed**:

- 2-3 years automotive parts experience is considered an asset.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Strong knowledge of parts and inventory systems is required for this role.
- Strong inventory management skills with the desire to grow our business and create a great customer experience.
- CDK experience is considered an asset.
- Strong automotive knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Personable, adaptable, and versatile.
- Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

**This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience**

**Job Type**: Full Time - Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
