Pet Sitter

Fur Babies Pet Care is looking for a part time pet sitter starting September with possibility of starting sooner.

JOB REQUIRES HAVING YOUR OWN VEHICLE AND LICENSE AND DRIVING TO MULTIPLE HOUSES WITHIN KITCHENER/WATERLOO

MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER DUE TO INSURANCE

MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OR MORE.
- **Pet Sitting**:_
- **MUST BE FLEXIBLE AS SOME VISITS ARE MORNING, AFTERNOON, EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS. WE ALSO OFFER OVERNIGHTS IN CLIENTS HOME.**_

Qualifications:

- Experience with dogs, cats and other small animals
- You are dependable and prompt and can be counted on to adhere to drop in/visits schedule
- Smart Phone required in order to send photos and updates to clients from our app.
- Provide care for animals in the pet sitter's home or in the pet owner's home.
- Feed and provide water to animals.
- Walk, and play with animals.
- Provide basic medical care, such as administering medications or cleaning wounds. (If requested)
- Keep records of services provided and any changes in the animal's condition.
- Provide companionship to animals.
- Believe in positive reinforcement and force-free
- Clean up after animals.
- Animal First Aid an asset or willing to obtain.
- Be comfortable staying overnight at clients home.
- **Requirements**:_
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid criminal record check or be willing to obtain one
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and be licensed
- Must have personal or professional experience with dogs
- Must have personal or professional experience with cats and other small animals
- Must be comfortable walking strong dogs
- Must be physically fit and able to walk in all weather conditions.
- Must have a working smart phone to update clients with photos etc.
- As you will be entering clients homes, a criminal record check will be required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
