**Summary of Role**

The Catering Manager is a goal oriented, highly organized multi-tasker and will work closely with the General Manager to develop strategies and plans to achieve business goals. The Catering Manager is responsible for booking, planning, and managing the in-house details for group and convention bookings. In addition, solicit business for catering markets with revenue goals.

**Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business**
- Manages Event Details with clients
- Finalizes BEO’s weekly and has all information published for weekly distribution.
- Deliver client proposals and contracts.
- Manage inbound catering inquiries from all channels.
- Prospect for new business and help increase revenues while maintaining business with existing clients
- Conduct Site Tours
- Attend daily BEO meetings to review function details
- Work closely with, banquet, and kitchen departments to ensure delivery of exceptional products and services
- Provide Banquet Team with the function details as well provide support as needed.
- Ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
- Enforces the service standards for all banquet events, meetings and related operations including innovative and creative food and beverage/bar displays.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the General Manager

**Education, Experience, and Skills**
- 2-3years management or supervisory experience in catering or comparable service industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a team environment with several divisions and/or departments
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
- Computer skills and knowledge of various programs. Event Management Software an asset. (CI/TY)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
