Meat Cutter

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications
- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper techniques for cutting and preparing them
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing meat products accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling and storing meat products
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
