Roopa Knitting Mils is a leading supplier of premium quality knit fabrics and apparel.

We produce fabric and garments for some of the leading brands in fashion.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Textile Production Coordinator. The role of this person is to work as a liaison between our clients and our manufacturing departments to ensure timely delivery of quality fabric that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Work closely with the knitting and dyeing department to ensure timing and quality standards are being met.
- Process client’s orders and arrange raw materials to meet the deadlines.
- Engage with the production team to follow up on orders and track progress.
- Update WIPs on a daily basis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing the quality of samples for color & construction accuracy and update with initial comments.
- Working very closely with the lab and the dye plant for color and quality approvals.
- Daily follow up on implementation and maintenance of quality standards.
- Prepare, pack and ship samples as needed.
- Coordinate the sending of samples to clients through courier services.
- Obtain approvals on the samples for timely shipping deliverables.
- Ensure delivery of products to clients and follow up on any client concerns.

**Education and Experience**:

- Diploma in Fashion/Textile manufacturing.
- 1-2 years experience in têxtiles manufacturing/quality would be an asset.
- Experience and knowledge in knit fabric manufacturing and/or dyeing.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office and manufacturing environment.
- Sitting and standing.
- Some light traveling is necessary, so having your own vehicle is preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiar with knitted fabric and must have a good sense for colour matching.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure independently or in team environment
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
