**Hiring Experienced Equipment Operators to Operate Bobcats.**

Total Instant Lawns has provided a premium landscaping services to the Ottawa area since 2010. We are seeking reliable, honest and hardworking labourers to join our landscaping crews. Total Instant Lawns is a growing company with lots of opportunities to grow with us.

As an operator, you will be responsible for working with your crew on the project for the day operating heavy machines. Most projects will be resodding properties within the city limits.

If you have the right attitude we are willing to train and promote individuals that do not have the experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Arriving on-site on time.
- Operate various tools and equipment
- Work on all aspects of a landscape construction plan, such as preparing work areas, installing sod, interlock walkways and softscaping.
- Comply with all company and regulatory policies.
- Ensure safe work practices
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

As an operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the machine assigned to you.

Qualifications:

- Experience in rough and fine grading, finishing, sod installation, and other softscaping services is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry
- Excavation
- Backfilling
- Good physical condition.
- Willingness to work as part of a team, and communicate effectively.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Personal transportation required.

This is a seasonal full time contract position. There is a possibility for extension throughout the winter with guaranteed pay.

The position is Monday
- Friday.

Total Instant Lawns offers competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. Performance bonuses are given to reward exceptional work.

**Pay to be negotiated based on experience and knowledge.**

**All machines are new with the top end package. T86 and T76 models.**
