**_WHAT YOU’LL DO: _**

**_The Cashier accepts payments, processes patient admissions/discharges, gathers missing information for billing purposes from patients, cash auditing and prepares, records and balances daily financial transactions _**_. _**

**_WHAT YOU’LL BRING: _**
- **_2 Year College Diploma in an Accounting or Business admin with accounting specialty required or equivalency achieved through education and experience. _**:

- **_Related experience in a hospital setting would be an asset. _**:

- **_Epic experience is an asset. _**:

- **_Customer service experience with the public preferred. _**:

- **_Accounts Receivable experience would be an asset. _**

**_WHO YOU ARE: _**
- **_Demonstrated basic knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and good computer skills _**:

- **_Demonstrated customer focused/driven attitude and positive customer philosophy _**:

- **_Accurate keyboarding skills (40 wpm) _**:

- **_Able to use standard office equipment including a computer, laser printer, label printer, fax machine, multifunction photocopier, mailing machine, calculator, and telephone. _**:

- **_Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and follow current privacy regulations. _**:

- **_Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills _**:

- **_Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively over the telephone, with patients/families, staff and physicians and the community _**:

- **_Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgement when making decisions _**:

- **_Demonstrated good teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive attitude within the team _**:
