We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead LINC Instructor to oversee our language instruction programs for adult immigrants and refugees. As a Lead LINC Instructor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our instructional staff, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our language courses, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

You will assist in the development of the overall vision and strategic direction of the program, while building positive relationships with staff, instructors and regional partners, at large. The position will fully engage in various initiatives in support of language education & the integration of newcomer families into the community.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and supervision to instructional staff, including training and coaching instructors to ensure high
- quality language instruction and learner success.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to develop and implement program policies, procedures, and curricula that align with the needs of our learners and the broader community.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to instructors to support ongoing professional development and instructional improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Program Manager in the development of LINC policies, procedures and program evaluation framework and ensure their successful implementation.
- Design and deliver professional development workshops and training sessions for instructional staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in delivering language instruction.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure a positive and seamless learner experience.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, employers, and other stakeholders to support learners' language learning goals and facilitate their integration into Canadian society.
- Meet new clients to assess needs, determine their learning goals, provide LINC/PBLA program orientation, coordinate access to programming and provide referral to relevant services as needed.

**Qualifications & Experience Required**:

- Related University degree, Ontario TESL Certificate and PBLA Lead certification (or willingness to train).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience in supervising staff/instructors and scheduling classes
- Knowledge of IRCC funded programs, the mandate and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze, synthesize and disseminate pedagogical information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and awareness of local community needs and services.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills with strong teamwork experience and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly organized, tactful, flexible and enthusiastic.
- Good working knowledge of educational IT equipment, language acquisition software and online resources.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of language acquisition, Canadian Language Benchmarks, and newcomer settlement issues.
- Experience in program coordination, teacher training and familiar with program management.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in teaching program logistics and curriculum planning.
