**Description**:
At the University of Toronto Mississauga, the expectation of faculty members in the teaching stream is that they bring a dimension of teaching excellence and educational innovation that enhances undergraduate education and adds significantly to the quality of the student experience.

Evidence of excellence in teaching and commitment to excellent pedagogical inquiry is required and can be demonstrated by teaching accomplishments, awards and accolades, presentations at significant conferences, the teaching dossier (with required materials outlined below), as well as strong letters of reference from referees of high standing.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Applications must include a cover letter, current curriculum vitae; and a complete teaching dossier which includes a strong and reflective statement of teaching philosophy (1 page), sample syllabi and course materials (max 10 pages), and prior student evaluation or other assessments of teaching effectiveness (max 10 pages).
