Greenhouse Worker

Job description
- Duties:_
- Harvest plants
- Planting and Transplanting
- Plant Maintenance
- Watering
- Fill flats
- Boxing and bagging produce for shipment
- Cleaning
- Assisting other employees with various tasks
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications:_
- Perform each duty satisfactorily and promptly
- Must be able to handle multiple projects or tasks
- Comply with a flexible work schedule
- Able to work in a warm, humid, non-air-conditioned environment
- Able to stand on concrete and work in a standing position 95% of the day as well as bending and stooping
- Able to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds
- Ability to interact effectively, professionally and courteously with staff
- Ability to relate to persons of all ages, skills and abilities
- Education:_
- High school education preferred
- Experience in horticulture is valuable but not required
- Training provided by employer

This is not an administrative/office job.

Full-time hours: 35 per week
