ROLE SUMMARY:
Global Product Development (GPD) supports clinical development across Pfizer and late-stage development of medicines. Every year, GPD partners with thousands of global participants, health systems and HCPs in our work to bring new medicines to market for the patients that we serve.

In coordination with GPD and COE colleagues, provide consultative services (business solutions), project management - execution and delivery (e.g., project schedule, resources, budget, issues, and risks etc.), change management, and communication for GPD stakeholders.

This role will partner with Pfizer Global Product Development, Worldwide Research & Development, Digital and other support functions to ensure timely project execution and delivery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

It is recommended not to list actual tasks but focus on 5-8 essential responsibilities that highlight accountability and level of judgment required.- In coordination with GPD and specifically Clinical Development & Operations colleagues, provide consultative services (business solutions), project management - execution and delivery (e.g., project schedule, resources, budget, issues, and risks etc.), change management, and communication for GPD stakeholders.- Support the Strategic Partnerships team in developing new, broader, and deeper vendor partners for GPD and WRDM; Lead the implementation of selected vendors at Pfizer, partnering with the respective GPD/WRDM teams that own the vendor relationship.- Facilitate Pfizer participation in research consortiums and strategic alliances to turn transformational ideas into actionable solutions to drive innovation at Pfizer through these external partnerships.- Support large scale, complex opportunities in GPD for innovative ways to transform the drug development, safety and regulatory business with focus on compliance, cost, speed, and quality.- Provide consultative services (business solutions), project management - execution and delivery (e.g., project schedule, resources, budget, issues, and risks etc.), change management, and communication for GPD stakeholders-
- Ensure projects/initiatives are aligned with the overall business needs while tracking progress of projects throughout their lifecycle.- Lead a variety of operational activities including, but not limited to, writing meeting agendas, capturing meeting minutes, facilitating meetings.- Partner with GPD colleagues to integrate process, tools, and technology into their workflows.- Engage with colleagues to understand and document business processes and capture requirements.- Possess an interest and ability to learn about new approaches and technologies.- Participate in periodic business reviews and planning sessions across portfolio of partners.- Participate in joint collaborative initiatives and joint planning with partners and internal project teams.- Gather metrics and generate standard reports regarding usage or support of IM systems- Ensures that the company’s critical information and records stored within COE-owned repositories are managed in accordance with external regulations and internal processes, are- protected and controlled over the long term and that data/content is available for critical business- Update master data or other standard configuration data elements within IM systems in accordance with standard operating procedures- Lead small projects of short duration, following established methodologies- Participate in system release activities- Ensure Pfizer stays current on trends and opportunities to repurpose innovation from healthcare, including clinical informatics and health information technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in (or supporting) any of the following disciplines: clinical drug development, clinical trial management, safety surveillance and reporting, clinical project management, R&D or regulatory reporting and analytics, or regulatory affairs. Related experience in other industries will be considered.- Demonstrated strong analytical skills with ability to investigate and solve unusual and complex problems independently.- Demonstrated strong customer relationship skills and capabilities to influence and collaborate with teams.- Proven ability to communicate complex information and analyses to a variety of audiences in both verbal and written format, capable of effectively summarizing abstract concepts into clear, concise, and insightful business cases.- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and comfort with operating in situations with significant ambiguity.- Proven ability to coordinate and/or support multiple complex projects simultaneously.- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) with higher academic qualification/degree preferred or equivalent relevant professional experience.
