**Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)**:Not applicable, however should have to pass vision test in compliance with CAN/CGSB48.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, such as calipers and gauges, to measure and evaluate product dimensions and attributes.
- Document inspection results, including non-conformities and deviations, in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Part Identification (machine and hand stamping).
- Measuring tool calibrations.
- Thread gauging.

**Experience**:5 years minimum in measuring / inspection of machined products and able to read engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Forklift and overhead crane.
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and practices.
- Proficiency in conducting quality inspections using various tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills

**Weight Handling**:Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

**Specific Skills**:Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables; Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments; Ability to use, maintain, and calibrate inspection tools and gauges including indicators, digital and manual calipers, micrometers. Prepare, maintain, complete inspection reports and inspection records.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:Fast-paced environment; tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; physically demanding; Standing for extended periods

**Work Site Environment**:The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

**Other Information**:Position requires experience in precision measuring tool. Able to perform calibration of measuring tools. Experience in computer operation with Microsoft operating system.
