**DUTIES**: The Graphic Artist is responsible for assisting with graphic production requirements for College of the North Atlantic province-wide, including camera-ready artwork for all promotional materials such as brochures, posters, newspapers and magazine advertisements, signage, annual report and other reports/newsletter designs and miscellaneous publications. The Graphic Artist also contributes to the animated and video production of materials for the web, social media, television and more. This position is included in the bargaining unit (NAPE, Support Staff).

**SCREENING CRITERIA**:

- Diploma in Graphic Design, or related (_equivalencies will be considered)_
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in digital animation/video software - _asset_

**ASSESSMENT CRITERIA**:

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledge of multi-media and animation
- Creative ability
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Effective working relationships
- Communication skills

**SALARY**: CG-26 - $43,789.20 to $48,466.60 per annum
