Bayview Pet Services is looking to hire 1 Vet Tech or Assistant to help out as our clinic is getting busier for our afternoon shift. We are a small Animal Hospital with one Doctor located at Bayview Ave and Mulock Drive in Newmarket. We are looking a for part time employee to add to our team. You must have some experience with Professional Animal care (not just having pets) and have a flexible schedule with availability on weekends. We are hoping for an individual that can help with daily tasks and there are always chances to advance and learn more Pay will be discussed and based upon experience in Veterinary field.

Some Job Responsibility are:

- assisting the doctor with appointments and during surgeries
- clean up before and after each pet visits clinic
- General Cleaning / making sure clinic is clean and presentable (extra Sanitization due to COVID-19)
- able to handle and restrain dogs and cats for vaccinations/ medical treatment
- making appointments and answering phone/ handling clients
- willing to learn Avimark (if no previous knowledge)
- good work ethics, punctuality is a must (you will NOT be judged for tattoos or colored hair)
- looking for someone who is flexible with their schedule.

**Working with animals requires a lot of cleaning which is a major part of this job. You will be cleaning a lot.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

- French not required
