Your New Role
Fotenn is looking to hire two Junior Planners. One position will be based out of our Ottawa office, and one position based out of either our Kingston or Toronto office.
**Qualifications**:
- Undergraduate and/or Master’s level university degree in urban planning;
- Experience in the field of urban planning is an asset;
- Practical understanding of municipal land use planning systems and policies;
- Good knowledge of land development practices;
- Initiative, independence, and strong problem-solving skills;
- Strong technical writing skills, including planning rationales, policy documents, etc.;
- Comfortable and confident liaising with clients, municipal departments, and review agencies;
- Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills;
- Bilingualism for Fotenn's Ottawa Locations
Assets:
- Bilingual is an asset for our Kingston and Toronto locations
- Membership in, or on the path to obtain, CIP/OPPI certification;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Located in the Ottawa Region and/or knowledge of Ottawa municipalities.

**Salary**: $43,065.18-$74,945.35 per year
