Bayview Glen is currently looking for two **Seasonal Maintenance Workers **to workfrom May through October. You’ll be primarily focused on supporting and assisting the activities of the Facilities team in all areas of the School and Summer Camp operations. This will include a range of duties related to the maintenance of School property such as performing minor repairs, moving furniture, general grounds maintenance and gardening, cleaning, painting and other activities as assigned by the Director of Facilities. You’ll work full-time hours (40 hours per week) for the duration of the contract.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Performing hands on building and grounds maintenance within School property;
- Participating in seasonal planting and lawn care to include pulling weeds, planting flowers, trimming of shrubbery, grooming sand pits and turf field, daily watering of horticulture, etc.;
- Conducting general maintenance and repairs such as painting, furniture assembly, etc.;
- Assisting with the preparation and clean-up of special events and meetings;
- Moving and storing office furniture and equipment for school/camp set-up and throughout summer as required;
- Operating light equipment such as weed trimmer, leaf blower, small hand tools, etc.;
- Other general and preventative maintenance duties as required.
- **What You’ll Need**:_
- High School Diploma;
- Professional and safe working habits at all times;
- Knowledge and experience of general maintenance considered an asset;
- Ability to perform duties requiring constant standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling;
- Demonstrated ability in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining effective interpersonal working relationships;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions;
- Must participate in all required health and safety training prior to commencement of work;
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
