**Construction Project Manager**

To assist the Director of Construction and CEO with project-by-project organizational support and operational management with a focus on overseeing and optimizing the coordination and administration of our construction projects.

This mid-level management position will involve coordinating various aspects of project management, subcontractor management, procurement, and logistics to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and Clients (largely First Nation communities and non-profit housing associations) to uphold our company's standards of excellence.
- Procurement, Purchasing & Budget Management:_
- Construction materials and products.
- Construction equipment.
- Vendor set-up and PO management (Corecon).Contract Development & Management:

- Client Agreements: Removal Agreement, Purchase Agreement. Templates provided.
- Sub-contractor tender and engagement agreements. Set-up, signing, management.
- Record keeping and document managementModernization Site Set-Up & Management:

- Identify a Metro Vancouver industrial site suitable for the storage and renovation of rescued homes.
- Coordinate lease agreement, permitting, site-up, security, etc.Inventory Management:

- Tracking of equipment and assets:_
- Transportation, warehousing, and security of equipment and assets.
- Coordinating maintenance/upkeep of equipment and assets.Insurance:

- CGL / COC / etc. for company and construction projects.
- Equipment, assets, vehicles, etc.Project Management:

- Monitor project progress and performance against established goals.
- Identify and address potential issues or delays as they arise.Metrics and Analysis:

- Analyze project data and metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Communications:

- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status.
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in construction/renovation management or related field. PMP certification is an asset.
- 7+ years of experience in construction/renovation project management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of residential construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Commitment to sustainability and affordable housing is a key asset.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

**Compensation**: $85,000 - $105,000 (negotiable depending on relevant experience)
Hours: 40 hrs / week
Compensation: $50 / mo phone and internet allowance.
Term: April 20th 2024 - April 20th 2025. Fixed employment agreement. Option to extend based on needs.

**Must be based in Metro Vancouver area.**

**Access to a vehicle is a requirement. Travel and mileage covered.**

This position reports to the Director of Construction and CEO.
