**Vantage Endoscopy and AMT Surgical** are leading sales focused distribution organizations specializing in high tech niche diagnostic and therapeutic medical products focused on Endoscopy/GI Suite, GI Clinics and Hospital Operating Rooms across Canada.

Representing suppliers of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products devices from around the world, we are a leader in medical product and device distribution in Canada.

**The Position**

**What you’ll do**:
This role is responsible for a variety of functions that include, but are not limited to:

- Develop financial models to support annual budget process, periodic forecasting process and strategic business decisions by senior management.
- Report monthly results versus budget/forecast and provide thorough analysis and investigation into the variances while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Commercial team to provide profitability assessments of equipment capital sales and long-term rental projects as well as revenue and margin management.
- Play a key role in upcoming ERP implementation, supporting the planning and coordination of data cleansing and migration.
- Assist in the financial close process, delivering accurate financial results and reports, and providing variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance and profitability.
- Responsible for full life cycle of all companies fixed asset accounting, including review capital in progress, accounting for disposals of assets, depreciation entries, maintain fixed asset subledger, preparation of fixed asset reconciliations.
- Build financial models and dashboards, in partnership with IT Business Analyst, to provide timely and accurate data that drives business decision making.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Consult on a variety of analytics and topics to inform leadership on opportunities, risks, and strategy.

**Requirements**:
The successful individual will possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Post
- Secondary Education in related field e.g., Mathematics/Statistics. Economics, Accounting, Finance, or other quantitative disciplines
- Professional accounting designation e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in data analytics, management reporting, financial planning and analysis.
- Experience in an ERP environment, Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of databases, SQL, and other technology; knowledge of Power BI is required.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for quantitative analysis and desire to continually add value and help achieve business results.
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills, including data and system analysis skills to draw conclusions effectively.
- Excellent customer service through strong interpersonal skills capable of interacting and dealing with management and external partners.
- Motivated individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
