**The Job**:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the Company’s transportation requirements and patterns. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations, including transportation and service planning.
- Monitor and maintain cost-effective operations while prioritizing excellent customer service.
- Communicate and coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and other departments for efficient scheduling and service delivery.
- Conduct regular driver performance reviews and organize training to ensure safety and compliance.
- Investigate and manage accidents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
- Organize and approve driver vacation requests while balancing operational needs.
- Provide leadership and support to product line personnel, including recruitment and performance management.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in waste management or transportation
- Familiarity with WHMIS, the Highway Traffic Act, and safety regulations
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) for managing data and reports.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to promoting safety and preventing accidents.
- Skilled in investigating incidents and preparing required documentation.
- Capable of organizing safety meetings and routine route observations
