Fireside Welland

The server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through setting tables, taking orders and serving meals and beverages to clientele according to Fireside standards and in accordance with Ontario’s Liquor Laws. Maintains cleanliness and order in serving areas. Ensures that bills are paid.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare restaurant for dining
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing and staying attentive during the dining process
- Answering phone in a timely manner to assist with takeout orders
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return
- Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment
- Other duties as assigned
- Help packing takeout items and cashing out those guests as well as tending to your patrons in the dining room

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
